Six Days at the Bottom of the Ocean
Acrylic on Canvas
12x 36
This piece was painted in a time when my extended family was in mourning for my little cousin, this was a personal depiction of her spirit passing to the spirit world. In my traditions we believe that the soul travels through the Milky Way back to the stars.
Walking in Two Worlds
Paper, Acrylic, Cardboard
Walking in duality has been a prevalent topic throughout my life. I grew up within my Native American traditions as well as my urban life in Denver, this sculpture was meant to display the power it has held in my life and the armor it has given my life to keep going.
